You have chosen to participate in the 34th annual French club celebration of art, beauty, language and culture! This event is a living testimonial to the motto of the French club: “Saisissez le jour!” We will learn, enjoy and savor experiences that we open our minds to another era, and our taste buds to try something new! J
Before Wednesday:
· Check in with teachers! If you are failing (check your grades online!) they have to write on your grade check that you may go! If you do not have signatures from these teachers you will not be allowed to go on Wednesday L.
· Get your parents to sign the permission form and acknowledge that club dues will pay for the transportation, and that you will need money for lunch at the bistro.
On Wednesday:
Show up first period at the library conference room first period. We will take roll, take up permission slips and grade checks, and go over the itinerary and prepare ourselves mentally for this adventure. J
Dress nicely: Smith has a reputation for nicely attired students who pay attention, ask intelligent questions, and very mature for their age.
Have with you: Paper and a pencil for notes: both before and during the tour at the museum. Your permission form and your grade check sheet if you are currently or at the last grading period not passing any classes. Club member dues and money for the bistro. Also, an open mind and spirit! J
