Le
Cercle Français de NSHS!
Club devise: Saisissez
le jour! (seize the day)
Purpose: To explore and enjoy aspects of French life and
culture it may not be possible to experience in class. Language ability and
grades are not issues: just an open mind and the willingness to have fun in a
French atmosphere!
- People
take French to be able to make friends using another language, to explore
new cultures and to make themselves ready for a global world
professionally. (and because it’s fun: the music alone is worth the price
of admission J)
- This
year has been a blast: the guest speakers, the wonderful field trip, the
connection with Morocco, the music, the video conference and parties have
been unforgettable. Next year we have the opportunity once again to make
even more connections with the French speaking world!
- Here
are just some of the events and activities the new officers will be
facilitating and presiding over. Once again, the leadership of the club is
the most important ingredient for the success of the year: passion, energy
and availability are key components of great officers! The new president
will be asked to appoint or oversee the election of additional officers
who are new to the program in the fall.
A
few of the events French club officers will help plan! (the president will
add/enhance/make suggestions and changes)
